Cheonggyecheon is an absolutely gorgeous urban stream that runs right through the heart of Seoul, where the past and present coexist in perfect harmony! Restored in 2005, Cheonggyecheon is now a truly delightful place to relax for Seoul residents and an absolute must-see attraction for international tourists! Cheonggyecheon stretches for about 11.5 kilometers, and it's the perfect place for a stroll! Its crystal-clear waters and diverse landscaping and sculptures make it a great spot for a relaxing day.

Cheonggyecheon has a fascinating history! It served as a water supply during the Joseon Dynasty, and later the stream was reclaimed for urban development. But the best is yet to come! A restoration project brought the stream back to life, and it is now one of Seoul's most iconic tourist attractions. Cheonggyecheon is also the venue for a whole host of cultural events and festivals, and it really comes alive in the summer months with its amazing water sculptures and spectacular nighttime views!
